Slice House by Tony Gemignani to Open in Downtown Franklin on April 19th

A new fast-casual pizza destination is arriving in downtown Franklin, Tennessee. Slice House by Tony Gemignani is set to open on Saturday, April 19th, at 98 E. Main Street—the former home of Americana Taphouse. This marks the first Slice House location in Tennessee and the eastern United States.
The restaurant is part of a growing franchise founded by Tony Gemignani, a 13-time world pizza champion and Food Network regular. Known for his mastery of several regional styles of pizza, Gemignani holds the title of U.S. Ambassador of Neapolitan Pizza from the city of Naples, Italy—an honor granted to only three people globally.
Franklin’s Slice House is operated by local franchisee Tyler Ichien, who has ties to the San Francisco Bay Area, where the franchise originated. There are currently around 30 Slice House locations across California, Nevada, and Utah.
The new downtown location offers a variety of pizzas by the slice or whole, including New York, Sicilian, Grandma, and Detroit styles. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are also available. In addition to pizza, the menu features pasta, wings, salads, and beverages, including soda, juice, local craft beer, and wine. Additionally, Slice House Franklin will debut a location-exclusive specialty pizza called The Lawdog, available by the slice only. The New York-style pizza features mozzarella, two kinds of bacon, thin-cut pepperoni, Jack Daniel’s Maple Syrup, hot pepper oil, green onions, garlic oil, oregano, and romano.
The space includes indoor seating for 45 and a covered outdoor patio with room for 65 guests. Online ordering, takeout, and delivery options will be available. The restaurant will be open daily from 11 am to 9 pm.
The new restaurant is currently hiring across all positions and is expected to bring more than 40 new full- and part-time jobs to the community.
The building, constructed in the 1800s, originally served as a service station and has housed several restaurants over the years. Slice House will share the location with another upcoming business: Perenn Bakery, a Nevada-based concept, also set to open this spring.
Opening weekend festivities at Slice House will include a visit and book signing by Tony Gemignani, along with many more surprises. For more information, visit their website and follow them on Instagram and Facebook.
