Register now for ‘Bark ‘n Splash Bash’
Share the pool with the pups at the inaugural ‘Bark ‘n Splash Bash’ on Saturday, September 8 at the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill. The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (WCPR) and Williamson County Animal Center are pleased to announce this joint event that will raise money for the animal center’s special medical fund.
During the special event, the 6,000 square foot zero entry pool will be open only to pre-registered adult handlers (18+) and their dogs. In addition, there will be a ‘Woof-Woof Water Park’ on the pool deck featuring fire plug sprinklers, puppy pools and a ball crawl. Spectators are welcome to observe from the Bowwow Boosters section (free).
Participants must pre-register at www.wcparksandrec.com. Space is limited to 40 participants per group, and the entry fee is $20 per pet. Small dogs, 40 lbs. and under (activity #13011) will swim and play at 9:00 a.m. Large dogs (activity #13012) will swim at 10:00 a.m. All dogs will swim at 11:00 a.m. Check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m. Proof of rabies is required for entry (no exceptions), and participants should review all rules and waivers during on-line registration.
