Seniors to Visit Bluebird and Loveless Cafes

The Franklin Recreation Complex invites seniors (ages 55 & older) to enjoy a day trip to the world famous Bluebird Café and lunch at the Loveless Café in Nashville on Thursday, January 8th.
The Bluebird Café opened in 1982 and has grown into an internationally known venue for aspiring songwriters and performers. The Bluebird has featured many well-known artists over the years, including Kathy Mattea and Garth Brooks. The Bluebird is a true “in-the-round” format, where four talented writers sit in a circle, sharing songs and inspiration.
After the show, lunch will be at the famous Loveless Café. Enjoy the award-winning cuisine at this Nashville landmark restaurant. A family-style lunch will be served including fried chicken and center-cut ham, green beans, hashbrown casserole, fried okra, macaroni and cheese, Loveless Café’s famous hot biscuits, a drink and dessert.
Registration opens at 9:00am on December 19th and closes January 5th or when the trip is full. The cost is $28 per person and space is limited. The group will leave from the Franklin Recreation Complex at 8:45am on January 8th and return at 2:00pm. Travel will be by comfortable motorcoach and the cost includes the Bluebird show, lunch at Loveless Café and all transportation.
Registration for the trip may be made in person or by speaking with the receptionist at (615)790-5719, ext. 10 (credit card purchases must be over $20 and will include a small processing fee). No messages allowed. To hold a reservation, payment must be received within 5 days of the initial registration. Payments may be mailed or made in person at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Road, Franklin, TN, 37064. Payment may be received by mail, over the phone or in person and is non-refundable after the final registration date unless the seat is filled from the waiting list. Participants may register up to 1 additional person for each trip.
