Ready Nest Counseling Honors Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day
NASHVILLE, TN – October 15th marks Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, a time to acknowledge the families in our community and worldwide who have experienced the loss of a baby. This often unspoken and isolating experience deserves recognition, empathy and support.
In observance of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, Ready Nest Counseling, a leading mental health provider in Nashville, is honoring the babies lives lost too soon and those deeply affected by loss.
On October 15th, Ready Nest Counseling will light up the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Downtown Nashville in shades of pink and blue, representing the families who have faced the grief of pregnancy and infant loss.
Ready Nest Counseling is also inviting the community to participate in the global “Wave of Light” event. On October 15th at 7:00 PM local time, individuals are encouraged to light a candle in memory of the babies we lost too soon. This collective act symbolizes love, support and remembrance for those touched by pregnancy and infant loss. Participants can show their support on social media by sharing photos and including the hashtag #ReadyNestWaveOfLight.
In addition to the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, several other prominent landmarks across Tennessee, including the Nashville Airport and the Island at Pigeon Forge, will also be illuminated in pink and blue to support Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.
