Prescription Assistance Bus

The “Help is Here Express” bus for prescription assistance will be on hand Sunday, August 3rd at the 2008 Williamson County Fair presented by Tractor Supply Company. Sponsored by the Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA), the “Help is Here Express” is a totally free service that has helped over 5 million patients nationwide. The bus is staffed by trained specialists able to quickly help uninsured and financially struggling patients access information on over 475 assistance programs, including over 200 offered by pharmaceutical companies. All Williamson County residents needing prescription assistance are invited to stop by the bus from 11am-5pm in the fair parking lot. Please bring a current list of medication(s). Sunday, August 3rd is also Senior Day at the fair, sponsored by Humana MarketPOINT. Seniors (age 55 and older) will be admitted free to the fair from 11:00am to 11:00pm.  Plenty of free, special senior activities are planned throughout the day, including free bingo games, the Ms. Williamson County Senior Pageant and a gospel show by the Fox Brothers.

The 2008 Williamson County Fair will run from August 1st to August 9th at the Williamson County Ag Expo Park, 4215 Long Lane in Franklin, Tennessee. Free parking and shuttle bus service is provided by Nissan North America.
