Pont Neuf to Open in L&L Market December 2024

Pont Neuf to Open in L&L Market December 2024

Located in West Nashville’s bustling L&L Market, Pont Neuf is the latest concept by the wife-and-husband team, Mattie Bush-Martin of Amelia’s Flowers and Taylor Martin. A floral shop meets soirée-centric bar, Pont Neuf will officially open on Friday, December 27, 2024, serving as an Amelia’s after-hours experience. Inspired by the couple’s Paris wedding, which took place near the bar’s namesake bridge on the Seine River, Pont Neuf brings an elegant, refined option to the neighborhood nightlife. Featuring seating for up to 45 guests – 40 at communal tables and the bar and five in the lounge – Pont Neuf will be open Wednesday through Sunday offering cocktails, wine, food, and flowers for guests.

Behind the Bar

At Pont Neuf, the atmosphere will be laid back – like guests stopped by the flower shop and decided to linger a bit longer. The beverage menu will showcase flower-inspired cocktails, including a selection of spritzes aptly categorized on the menu “Spritz Garden,” which includes Midnight at Montmartre featuring Lillet and cucumber, the Secret Jardin with elderflower and rosemary, A Night in Paros with vermouth, olive, and citrus, and the Roman Holiday–an Aperol spritz. Wines by the glass and bottle will also be a highlight of the menu including reds, whites, sparkling, and skin contact varietals. Additional offerings will include a few classic cocktails, local craft beer, and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages.

Small Bites

The food menu at Pont Neuf will focus on snacks and small bites that complement the beverage program and let it  shine. Guests can expect items such as sourdough with olive oil to dip, Evie’s hummus with seasonal vegetable crudités, or a mixed candy dish for those looking to satisfy their sweet tooth.

Interactive Elements

While enjoying a glass of wine or cocktail, guests are invited to purchase Amelia’s Flowers pre-made arrangements or pick their own flowers – priced per stem – and create build-your-own bouquets at the VW Transporter truck within the bar. The team will then wrap them and bring them over to wherever seated, adding an interactive element. Also offered is their menu of Moments in Bloom, showcasing a selection of experiential food, beverage, and floral pairings including The Meet Cute, The First Date, The Anniversary, and The Just Because. Camp Snap Cameras will be available for guests to borrow while at Pont Neuf, allowing them to capture their personal experience and have their photography featured on the bar’s Instagram.

The Design

The Martins worked with Nashville-based Goodrum Construction and interior designer Alli Rader to execute their vision for the space: a chic and elevated, yet welcoming atmosphere that melds Amelia’s distinct vibe with a Parisian experience. Upon entering Pont Neuf, guests are greeted in an intimate lounge area, accent wall shrouded in drapery, and statement checkerboard tile floor. The floor-to-ceiling windows allow for one of best sunset views in West Nashville, casting an evening glow over the bar and selection of communal tables. The space’s statement piece is one of the original Amelia’s Flowers VW Transporter trucks, happily retired to hold pre-made bouquets for purchase. The bar will also serve as a location for events, with programming hosted by the team and availability for buyouts and intimate
celebrations.
