Franklin’s Masonic Hall Hiram #7 is a historic building, built between 1823 and 1826 in Franklin, Tennessee. The Gothic revival-style building has a rich history and is one of the first structures in Middle Tennessee. As the oldest public building in Franklin, it has witnessed pivotal moments in U.S. history, including Civil War usage and the 1830 Treaty of Franklin negotiations.
Notable figures like Andrew Jackson and James Robertson frequented the hall for business. It was also the first three-story building constructed west of the Allegheny Mountains. During the American Civil War, it served as a hospital. Today, it continues to be a cherished historical site and home to many members of the Masonic Lodge.
