New Flag Football League to Form in Brentwood

Huddle up! The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department’s Athletics Division has partnered with the NFL to offer boys and girls a chance to play in a non-contact flag football league on Saturdays in the fall. All games will be played at the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park. The cost to participate is $80.00. The league will be divided into three age divisions: 7-8, 9-10 and 11-13, and participants must provide proof of their age at the time of registration. Registration is June 9 – July 25 with a mandatory draft held on Saturday, August 2. Practices will be held August 23 – September 6 and games played September 13 – October 11. Registration forms are available at the Indoor Sports Complex, the Indoor Arena at Crocket Park, the Franklin Recreation Complex and online at www.wcprathletics.org.  Mail completed registration forms and payment to:  920 Heritage Way, Brentwood, TN 37027, Attention: Amber Hilliard.   For more information, contact Amber Hilliard at 370-3471, ext. 18.
