Chair Named for 2009 STAR Gala
Leigh Bawcom, marketing officer for BancorpSouth in Williamson County, will chair The STAR Gala, an annual black-tie fundraising event hosted by the Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce and the BCS Chamber Foundation.
The STAR Gala, to be held Saturday evening, Feb. 7, 2009, at the Embassy Suites in Cool Springs, will benefit Williamson County schools, both public and independent, including foreign language education. The event also funds college scholarships for graduates of the Youth Leadership Brentwood program.
“As a K-12 product of Williamson County Schools, I’m excited to chair an event that gives back to the very educational system and community in which I was raised,” said Ms. Bawcom. “Williamson County has always had a great reputation for its schools, and I am honored to help continue that tradition through The STAR Gala.”
