NEW ART AND RECREATION PROGRAMS OFFERED AT LOCAL RECREATION FACILITIES
The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (WCPR) hosts a variety of art, music and general recreation programs for children, teens, adults and seniors at recreation centers across Williamson County in Brentwood, Fairview, Franklin, Nolensville and Spring Hill. From art classes and music programs, to a variety of educational and recreation-based instructional classes, we offer an assortment of activities for a multitude of interests.
An extensive line-up of new programs begin in October, including new series of cooking classes, with both youth and adult options; photography classes; Fall Paint Parties and preschool art and education programs at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd. A new knitting program and another session of Babysitting 101 will be held at the Williamson County Recreation Complex, 7250 Nolensville Rd., in Nolensville. In Spring Hill, Polynesian Dance classes continue, and a new youth art class begins October 4 at the Longview Recreation Center, 2909 Commonwealth Dr. Homeschool Art, painting, pottery and Tae Kwon Do programs remain at the Fairview Recreation Complex, 2714 Fairview Blvd. And, weekly sessions of Art Journaling and Mindfulness; plus Mixed Media workshops are available at the Williamson County Enrichment Center, 110 Everbright Ave. in Franklin.
