Lovely scents bring us joy and add a little something special to our day. Buff City Soap is here to help with this. Open in Franklin since May, this franchise has locations throughout the country. Walk into this amazing store and smell all it has to offer, and take the time to watch the products being made right in front of you.
“This is what is so fun about coming into the store,” says General Manager, JT Friend. “You’ll always see us making the soaps, bath bombs, and other products right on our Makery bars out on the floor.”
He says there are upwards of 30 scents, but that number increases greatly when combined, which customers can request. “If you’re interested in a scent combination, such as our Coconut mixed with our Island Nectar, we can mix that up for you.”
Its shower oil, which they like to call ‘lazy lotion,’ is always in demand. You spray it on as you’re getting out of the shower and then just rub it in. “You can also scent it to anything in the store and it helps you retain that scent throughout the day,” says JT. Other body products include bath bombs, shower fizzies, scrubs and whipped body butters.
Not only do the products at Buff City Soap smell amazing, but they’re also healthy for your skin. “Everything in our store is plant-based and free of chemicals,” he says. “They are also paraben- and preservative-free. Our laundry soap is how we get a lot of people hooked on us. It’s only four ingredients and we can scent it to anything in the store. Narcissus is our most popular scent across the board, but especially in the laundry soap. Another popular one is Fresh Cotton.”
There’s also a men’s line with scents including Commando, which is woodsy and a little musky. Beard products and more items are also available. Most products can be ordered online, but it’s so much more fun to visit, breathe in the wonderful scents, and watch the products being made fresh daily.
