Main Street Brewfest Returns to Franklin on St. Patricks Day 2018

Downtown Franklin Association hosts more than 70 craft beers and 35 tastings sites on March 17

FRANKLIN, TN – The Downtown Franklin Association will tap into history once again on Saturday, March 17 for its annual Main Street Brewfest presented by Lipman Brothers. The annual event boasts more than 70 beers across multiple tasting locations on America’s Favorite Main Street in the heart of Historic Downtown Franklin.

“Main Street Brewfest will celebrate its 15th year this March, and we are excited that the festivities coincide with St. Patrick’s Day,” said Kristy Williams, director of the Main Street Program for the Heritage Foundation. “Guests can expect a lively evening with a large selection of beer, and along the way, we encourage patrons to shop local at our retailers and restaurants on America’s Favorite Main Street. We look forward to another successful and fun event.”

The St. Patrick’s Day celebration will take place from 5 – 8 p.m. at 35 various tasting sites along Main Street. Guests must have a ticket to participate in the beer tastings, but not to enjoy the festivities. Main Street will be open to all pedestrian traffic and restaurants and many shops will remain open for business. In addition to the tastings, guests of Brewfest will enjoy the music of Boomerang.

Franklin’s Main Street Brewfest is produced by the Downtown Franklin Association, a nationally accredited Main Street Program and a division of the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County. Proceeds from the event go to the continued revitalization and promotion of the 16-block historic district, which is on the National Register of Historic Places and designated by the National Trust as a Great American Main Street and a Preserve America Community.

Tickets for Main Street Brewfest are now on sale online at http://bit.ly/2kAkzDI. Early bird tickets are $45 through Jan. 31, and general admission tickets after that date are $55.
