The Franklin Recreation Complex is having a class on the art of cookie decorating on Feb. 6 from 5 p.m.- 7 p.m.! From making the icing and preparing equipment to learning techniques like flooding and detailing, this Valentine-themed class will prepare you for the holiday! Each student will leave with a dozen cookies decorated in a hearts and flowers theme on a reusable cookie sheet, ready to be given to loved ones as Valentine’s Day treats! This class is for ages 12+ and those aged 12-15 must be accompanied by an adult. Remember to bring your own apron and get ready to become a master of cookie decorating!
Love Songs with Anthony Nunziata
Nashville-based singer/songwriter Anthony Nunziata is stopping by The Franklin Theatre on Feb. 6, just in time for Valentine’s Day, with a setlist including Broadway classics, famous love ballads, original songs, and more! Dubbed as “America’s new romantic singing sensation,” this award-winning artist will have you singing, laughing, and appreciating all the love there is in life.

Valentine’s Cards: The Brentwood Library invites you to stop by and make a homemade Valentine’s Day card for a loved one on Feb. 6 from 4 p.m.- 5 p.m.!
Galentine’s Day Celebration: Take some time to love and appreciate your friends this Valentine’s season! Head over to the Brentwood Library to decorate cupcakes, craft a floral arrangement, and take some pictures at their Galentine’s Celebration on Feb. 8 from 5:30 p.m.- 6:30 p.m.!
After a two-year hiatus, GratiDude Ranch invites you to their 5-Course Farm-to-Table Valentine’s Dinner on February 9th at 5:30 p.m.! This scratch-made meal includes delicious food cooked with organic ingredients from local farms as well as craft cocktails and house wines. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to SAFE, a non-profit that assists foster youth and families. With live entertainment, new friends, and a possible visit with the ranch’s animals, this scenic dinner has the makings of the perfect Valentine’s date night!
Arrington Vineyards is hosting a Valentine’s Wine & Chocolate Pairing on February 10th, 11th, and 12th! If you are interested in celebrating the holiday of love with wine, chocolate, and live music from pianist Reed Pittman, then this afternoon at Arrington Vineyards may be the perfect place for your special Valentine’s date! Williamson County Parks and Recreation invites you and your child to create Valentine’s Day art inspired by the work of Jim Dine on Feb. 11 from 1:30 p.m.- 3:30 p.m.! Children ages 6-13 can attend with a parent, grandparent, or other family member to paint a couple canvases that fit together to create a unique and special work of art! The 2023 Shine Gala will be held on Feb. 11 from 6 p.m.- 11 p.m. at the Liberty Ballroom in The Factory at Franklin. This Valentine’s event supports the Well Outreach and includes catered dinner, a silent auction, live music, and more! We Rock The Spectrum Kid’s Gym is celebrating their one year anniversary with a Valentine’s-themed party on Feb. 12 from 12 p.m.- 3 p.m.! Spend Valentine’s Day learning a new skill with Lil’ Rev and his “Essential Strums & Strokes” workshop and house concert! Bring along someone special as Lil’ Rev teaches you new ukulele techniques and strums. The ukulele workshop will be from 1 p.m.- 2 p.m. and the concert will be from 2:30- 3:30 p.m.!
