Red Carpet Interviews and Entertainment Wowed Guests
Franklin, Tenn. – The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, TN held the most successful Heritage Ball in the 49-year history of the annual fundraising event held at the Eastern Flank Battlefield Park.
In making the announcement, President & CEO of the Heritage Foundation Bari Beasley said, “Not only was the Heritage Ball a magical night full of surprises around every corner, but our Co-Chairs Cordia and Tom Harrington joined our dedicated team to generate the most funds ever raised in the history of the Heritage Foundation. We are so thankful to our tremendous sponsors who champion our cause and the hundreds of guests who not only attended but participated in our lively auction. Heather Headley’s performance of ‘I Was Here’ was one of the highlights of the evening shedding a light on our countless preservation efforts in Williamson County.”
Guests arrived on the red carpet and were greeted by Inside Edition’s Megan Alexander and TV personality Allison DeMarcus who interviewed select guests upon arrival. Monitors in the cocktail reception captured the interviews as part of the entertainment, thanks to the vision of Ball Co-chairs Cordia and Tom Harrington who strived to make guests feel like stars, as they collectively are the ones who make up the fabric of Williamson County.
G Catering served an exquisite three course meal which was accented with entertainment throughout the night including a live auction followed by entertainment by Tony and Grammy Award winning artist Heather Headley who performed “I Was Here” during an immersive montage of images and videos representing the best of Williamson County and significant historical locations the Foundation has been involved with throughout the years. Imagery of Carnton, McLemore House, Morton-Brittain House, Ravenswood Mansion and others were projected on the venue ceiling for a dramatic and powerful representation. The crowd danced until midnight along with the Late Party crowd who enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and dancing.
Amos Gott was the designer this year joined by Incite Studios who produced the visual elements of the performance. The Ball was further made logistically possible by Jayme Smith, Director of Event Management for the Heritage Foundation.
