PumpkinFest
The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County’s 38th Annual PumpkinFest offers autumn-inspired food and drink, live music, costume contests, and countless activities every year! Over 150 vendors line the streets of downtown Franklin, Tennessee, along with thousands of attendees! Equipped with a KidZone, a whiskey lounge, interactive experiences, live entertainment, costume contests, and seasonal vendors, PumpkinFest will show you why it’s the largest family fall festival in Middle Tennessee on October 28th!
Fear Fest at The Franklin Theatre
The Franklin Theatre will be hosting Fear Fest throughout the month of October! This spooky series will highlight classic Halloween-themed movies such as Predator, Alien, Hocus Pocus, Coraline, The Addams Family, The Blair Witch Project, Trick or Treat, Ghostbusters, Zombieland, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Psycho, and Halloween! The Franklin Theatre will even be decked out in Halloween decor, so get into the Halloween spirit at this historic theatre!
The Movie Gang
The Movie Gang will be throwing a couple Halloween parties in downtown Franklin at The Franklin Theatre this month!
Little Shop of Horrors: The Movie Gang’s showing of Little Shop of Horrors on October 27th will include sing alongs, a photo booth, costumes, Halloween treats, decorations, and more!
Monster House: The Movie Gang will host a Kids Halloween Party on October 29th, with a showing of Monster House, free trick or treat bags, costumes, photo ops, and more!
Hattie Jane’s Creamery’s
For the month of October, Hattie Jane’s Creamery will offer the Bad Blood Parfait as a nod to Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour and the spooky holiday at the end of the month. The Halloween special starts with two scoops of Hattie’s Vanilla ice cream, layers of brownie bits, mini M&M’S, hot fudge and whipped cream topped with cotton candy fluff, Amarena cherry juice and a vampire toy fang garnish. Guests are also offered a black specialty ice cream cone to pair with their fall flavor scoops!
Monster Mash and Movie Knight (Oct. 7th)
Williamson County Parks & Recreation will be hosting a Monster Mash and Movie Knight at Castle Park on October 7th at 4pm. This free Franklin event invites attendees to enjoy the latest Addams Family movie, a variety of food trucks, competitive games, Halloween crafts, and more! Dress up in costumes and stop by for an evening of ghoulish fun under the stars!
Killers and Cocktails Tour
Franklin Walking Tours will be hosting a Killers and Cocktails Tour on October 7th at 7:30pm. This exclusive tour invites you to step into the shadows of downtown Franklin after enjoying half-price drinks and appetizers at Americana Taphouse. The Horror Hootenanny 17
King’s Dining & Entertainment in Franklin will be hosting Dr. Gangrene’s Horror Hootenanny on October 7th at 8pm. This Halloween costume party will feature music from The Forbidden Dimension, The Creeping Cruds, and Phantoms of Saturn! This all ages event will award prizes for best costume, so show up and show out!
Royally Fun Happy Pumpkin Cookie Class
Sugar Drop Cafe & Dessert Boutique will be having a Basic Beginner Cookie Class on October 12th and October 28th. This class will provide you with all the supplies necessary to create some yummy, Halloween themed cookies!

The John P. Holt Brentwood Library invites you to make Halloween themed earrings, necklaces, and keychains on October 12th from 5-6:30pm!
Storybook Crafts – Halloween
Williamson County Parks & Recreation will be hosting a Halloween-inspired Storybook Crafts session on October 14th from 9-11am. This childrens’ craft class features a story time session and crafts inspired by the book, Room on the Broom!
Pumpkin Decorating
Harpeth True Value invites you to decorate your own pumpkin on October 14th from 10am- 2pm! This free, family-friendly event will provide the pumpkins, paints, decorations, and prizes, so all you need to bring is your Halloween spirit!
Fall Festival at Towhee Club
Towhee Club in Spring Hill will be hosting a Fall Festival on October 14th from 2-5pm. This fall festival will feature hay rides, a beer garden, prize putting, fall food, and all kinds of family-friendly fun!
Pumpkin Carving
The Williamson County Public Library invites teens ages 12-18 to their Pumpkin Carving activity on October 14th at 2pm. Carve and decorate a pumpkin for Halloween with friends at the Williamson County Public Library’s Teen Room!
Haunted Hall Tours
Franklin Walking Tours invites you to join their Haunted Hall Tours on the last three Saturdays of October! These tours will take you through the historic Masonic Hall in downtown Franklin from 10- 11pm, where you will hear about the many hauntings of this 200 year old building. Group sizes are limited for this three night only tour, so make sure to book soon!
Pumpkin Festival at Magnolia & Vine
Magnolia & Vine’s 2nd Annual Pumpkin Festival will take place on October 15th from 11am- 4pm. This Spring Hill festival will include live music, festive vendors, face painting, a pumpkin patch, an inflatable course, a pumpkin decorating contest, themed cocktails, pumpkin desserts, and more! Admission is free, so stop by this fun and family-friendly event!
Bubbly Cauldron Buttercream Cake Class
Sugar Drop Cafe & Dessert Boutique in Franklin will host a Bubbly Cauldron Buttercream Cake Class on October 21st for ages 8 and older. This class will guide you through turning cupcakes into a halloween themed pull-apart cake!
Adult Craft: Pumpkin Book Art
The Williamson County Public Library invites adults 18 and up to their Adult Craft: Pumpkin Book Art activity on October 24th at 5pm. This craft will involve carving a pumpkin from a book, with all the supplies provided!
Stephen King Trivia
The John P. Holt Brentwood Library will hold Stephen King Trivia on October 24th at 6pm. Come out for some spooky trivia at the library, where you will enjoy refreshments, a photo booth, and answering trivia questions about the king of horror!
Scout’s Pub Halloween Yappy Hour
Scout’s Pub in Franklin’s Westhaven neighborhood will be having a Halloween Yappy Hour on October 26th from 4-7pm. This festive event invites you to bring your pups for an evening of pumpkin painting, tastings from Lo Siento Tequila on the patio, specialty fall cocktails, and a pop-up shop from Animalia! There will even be adoptable dogs from the Williamson County Animal Center with adoption fees covered by A. Marshall Hospitality. Bring your furry friend along for this fun evening and don’t forget to dress them up for the costume contest – winner gets a prize!
Halloween Candy Pairings Mini Class
You are invited to celebrate Halloween with Saint Goose in downtown Franklin on October 26th from 5:30-6:30pm. Their Halloween Candy Pairings Mini Class will assist you in pairing yummy Halloween candy with some of their delicious wines!
Boo! Books at the Franklin Library
The Friends of the Library in Franklin will host their annual Boo! Books event on October 28th from 1-4pm. This event at the Williamson County Public Library will include festive costumes as well as a free new book and Halloween candy for kids!
Amerigo
“Terror-Misu” is sure to get you in the Halloween spirit! This limited-time dessert will be available at all Amerigo locations from Oct. 27 – 31. Enjoy the Jack-o’-lantern dusted dessert in addition to Amerigo’s classic Italian menu items.
Friends Booktacular
The John P. Holt Brentwood Library will hold their 4th Annual Friends Booktacular on October 28th at 3pm. This free Halloween event attracts hundreds of guests every year, featuring 15 trick or treat stations, photo opportunities, a free book for kids 12 and under, and some spooky fun!
Guys and Ghouls Farm-to-Table Dinner
GratiDude Ranch will be hosting a Guys and Ghouls Farm-to-Table Dinner on October 28th from 5:30-9pm. This festive event will feature a 5-course dinner by Chef Braiden Mallon, live entertainment from The Deltaz, a farm tour, and a costume contest with prizes! Enjoy a delicious meal made from locally sourced ingredients to get you into the Halloween spirit!
Tombstone Tales
Franklin Walking Tours invites you to experience their spooky Tombstone Tales tour at Rest Haven Cemetery on October 28th from 7-9pm. Costumed actors of all ages will guide you through this historic cemetery and share the tales of those buried beneath your feet. Watch Franklin history come alive at this evening of theater and scary true tales!
Trunk or Treat
Skyline Church will be hosting a free Trunk or Treat on October 29th from 11am – 2pm. This festive and family-friendly event in Franklin will have jump houses, free food, cotton candy, Halloween candy, carnival games with prizes, face painting, a picture booth, and more!
Night of the Living Oddity
Check out the Night of the Living Oddity for a spooky night of improv at The Mockingbird Theater on October 30th at 7:30pm. This night of entertainment with comedian Judith Hoag will have you laughing from spooky twists and memorable punchlines! Stop by this Halloween-themed improv show for ages 16 and up!
Halloween Happy Hour & Costume Party
The Factory at Franklin invites you to attend their Halloween Happy Hour & Costume Party at The Skylight on October 31st from 7-11pm. Dress up in your best costume and enjoy discounted happy hour prices on Halloween night! If you have the best costume, you will win a special prize at the end of the night!
Boo at The Zoo
The Nashville Zoo will be holding their special Boo at The Zoo event on October 13th-29th from 5-9pm. This festive event is a family favorite and features fall-focused decorations and activities, as well as trick or treating, special animal shows, and more for 17 nights of Halloween fun!

Lucky Ladd Farms in Eagleville is about 35 minutes from Franklin, and hosts a vast range of fall events and festivals! This unique pumpkin patch will be hosting their Fall Family Fun Pumpkin Festival until Oct. 29th, with a pumpkin patch, corn maze, a petting zoo, and more!
Pups & Pints Howl-oween Festival
oneC1TY in Nashville will be hosting their Pups & Pints Howl-oween Festival on October 28th. This free fall festival invites you to bring along your canine friends to spend an afternoon of dog-focused, Halloween-themed activities! Stop by to enjoy their food trucks, beer tastings, pet vendors, lawn games, and more!
