Group Swim Lessons Offered in Fairview

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department offers “Group Swim Lessons” at the Fairview Recreation Complex Outdoor Pool. Classes are held Monday through Thursday in 2-week sessions. The cost per person, per session is $50.00 and is limited to six participants per class.
 
Class descriptions:
Level I (3yrs – 5yrs):  This program is designed to introduce the child to water in an exciting and fun way. The child will learn basic swimming and water safety skills. The class is presented in a manner that pre-school children will enjoy.
 
Level I (6yrs & up):  This is a beginner course designed to teach elementary swimming and fundamentals of water safety skills. Each student will experience bouncy, breath control, floating, kicking techniques and alternating arm movements.
 
Level II (6 yrs & up):  This class builds on the fundamentals learned in Level I. The child will perform skills unsupported, retrieve objects underwater, combined front and backstrokes and advanced rescue skills will be introduced.

** WCPR reserves the right to move a child between levels based on child’s swimming ability.
