Free Intro to Hiking Class – Family Activities
Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill
Learn all about hiking the wonderful parks and scenic areas of Middle Tennessee in a free class, Thursday, May 17 at the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Dr. Instructors Greg Bearden, ‘the hiking guy’ and Becky Bean will share tips on preparing for day hikes, proper footwear, daypack selection, local trails, hiking etiquette and activities for children along the trail.
This class is open to the public, and children 8 and older are invited to attend along with parents. The class is free, but please register in advance at www.wcparksandrec.com, activity #12219. Sponsored by Keller Williams Realty-The Bearden Group.
