The following photos were taken by Danielle Smith, one of FI’s stellar photographers, during Franklin on the Fourth in downtown Franklin, Tennessee. Enjoy these shots of the annual event that features live bands, games, vendors and, of course, a spectacular fireworks show!

This year, Franklin had its biggest crowd ever, with an estimated 17,000 to 18,000 people between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. Compared with last year, when the number in attendance was about 12,000, Franklin on the Fourth absolutely exploded this year!
