FSSD Celebrates 100 Years of Excellence

The Franklin Special School District has been in existence since 1906 and plans to celebrate the 100th Anniversary with the beginning of the 2006 – 2007 school year.

The kick-off celebration will take place on Aug. 10, 2006 with a reception in Jamison Hall at the Factory of Franklin in Franklin, Tennessee from 5-7 p.m. The reception will be an opportunity for the board, administration and staff to recognize business and community partners, dignitaries, retirees, past students, parents, friends, current and past employees that have been . . .  and continue to be a vital part of the Franklin Special School District.

It is important that we celebrate our successes and acknowledge those individuals that continue to make the Franklin Special School District “special.”  The FSSD has walked closely with the private sector, and they have been asked to underwrite the cost of the reception.

The Franklin Special School District has been committed to excellence in teaching and learning for all over the past 100 years. . .  and will continue the commitment for the next 100 years!

Please join us as we begin the year of celebration on Aug. 10 from 5-7 p.m. in Jamison Hall at the Factory of Franklin.
