FRANKLIN AND HILLSBORO YOUTH BASKETBALL
Registration ends October 14
The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department’s Athletics Division is now accepting on-line registration for the Franklin and Hillsboro Youth Basketball Leagues. Participants will have the opportunity to experience all-county play while improving skills, sportsmanship and building relationships with players in other communities. Players are required to be 5 to 17 years old as of August 31, 2018, and must provide a copy of their birth certificate.
All registration is on-line at www.wcparksandrec.com and concludes October 14. The player fee is $100 (includes uniform), payable upon registration.
Mandatory drafts will be held on October 22 and 23 for Franklin and October 25 for Hillsboro.
Practices will begin the weekend of November 3. Games will be played on Saturdays starting December 1 through February 9. To conclude the season, a tournament, will be held February 11-23. Home games will be played at Academy Park, Franklin Rec Center, Winstead Elementary, Pearre Creek Elementary, and the Hillsboro/Leiper’s Fork Recreation Center. Away games will be at various locations throughout Williamson County.
Help is also needed in the areas of head coaches, assistant coaches, officials and supervisors.
