Franklin Festivals and Events
Fall in Franklin brings the city to life with pumpkins on every corner, music drifting through downtown, and families gathering to celebrate the season. From lively street festivals to hands-on activities at the farm, each event offers a chance to slow down, enjoy the cooler temperatures, and make memories in one of Middle Tennessee’s most scenic settings.
Porchfest 2025
Westhaven’s annual Porchfest returns to Franklin on Saturday, September 20th, celebrating with music, community, and live performances. From 12 pm to 5 pm, attendees can enjoy free music at front porches throughout the Westhaven neighborhood, featuring local and regional musicians in a festival atmosphere.
The fun continues into the evening with a ticketed finale concert at Magli Green in Westhaven Town Center, running from 7 pm to 10 pm. The lineup includes Monsters of Yacht, a premier tribute to Yacht Rock, along with The Deltaz and special guest Ben Calhoun. Proceeds from the concert benefit the Westhaven Foundation, which supports local community programs.
Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival
Returning to The Park at Harlinsdale Farm, the 11th annual Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival will take place September 27th and 28th. One of the most anticipated fall music events in Middle Tennessee, Pilgrimage is celebrated not only for the music but also for the wide range of experiences it brings together, with six stages of music, local artisans, food trucks, cultural booths, and activities suitable for all ages.
This year’s lineup delivers major star power: John Mayer (with full band) and Kings of Leon will headline the weekend’s performances. Other standout acts include Young the Giant, Turnpike Troubadours, Father John Misty, Sam Fender, Sam Barber, Grace Potter, Better Than Ezra, Colony House, Maggie Rose, American Aquarium, and Angel White.
Franklin Movies in the Park
As part of Franklin Parks’ Sequel Summer Series, Movies in the Park returns with a fall feature at Bicentennial Park on Friday, October 10th. The free event invites families to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy Captain America: The Winter Soldier under the stars. The film begins around 8 pm or sunset, and food trucks will be on site to round out the evening.
Grape Stomp Festival
On October 11th, The Factory at Franklin will host the 15th Annual Grape Stomp Festival at The Shed. Presented by A Vintage Affair, a nonprofit supporting women and children in Williamson County, this lighthearted event invites participants to roll up their pants and stomp grapes the old-fashioned way, accompanied by live music, food, and wine tastings. It’s a unique experience that brings a festive spirit to Franklin’s fall calendar while raising funds for a local cause.
The Pumpkin Patch 2025 – Cooper Trooper Foundation
Williamson County’s beloved “Pumpkins for a Purpose” returns Saturday, October 18th through October 31st, or until the pumpkins sell out. Located at the intersection of Cool Springs Blvd. and Mallory Lane, the Pumpkin Patch opens Sundays through Fridays from 10 am to 7 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am to 8 pm.
Admission is free, and visitors can purchase pumpkins, gourds, and autumn décor using credit cards or digital payments, with donations accepted via cash or check. All profits go directly to the Cooper Trooper Foundation to fund crucial pediatric cancer research at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital and to support siblings of children with cancer through their Courage Kit program.
PumpkinFest 2025
Franklin’s biggest fall tradition returns on Saturday, October 25th, as the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County hosts the 40th Annual PumpkinFest, presented by Atmos Energy. Recognized as Middle Tennessee’s largest family fall festival, PumpkinFest stretches along Main Street and its side avenues in downtown Franklin, drawing thousands of visitors. The event features a full day of autumn-inspired food and drink, children’s activities, live music, costume contests for pets and families, and arts and crafts shopping.
Wine Down Main Street 2025
Downtown Franklin will come alive from 7 pm to 10 pm on Saturday, November 1st, for the 24th Annual Wine Down Main Street. Known as “the best night out all year,” this rain-or-shine event runs along historic Main Street and is open to guests 21 and older with a valid ID. Sponsored by Lipman Brothers, Nashville’s oldest and largest distributor of wine and spirits, Wine Down Main Street offers tastings from around the world hosted inside more than 20 shops, paired with bites from local restaurants and live music throughout the night.
The event raises critical funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee, providing children ages 5–18 with after-school and summer programs that support academic success, career readiness, and community engagement. With fine wine, food, shopping, and entertainment, Wine Down Main Street remains one of Franklin’s premier fall fundraisers and a favorite night out for adults across the region.
Family Day at Harlinsdale
On Saturday, November 1st, City of Franklin Parks will host the annual Family Day at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm. This free fall festival invites the community to enjoy a variety of hands-on activities on the historic grounds. Kids can take miniature train rides, hop on hayrides, enjoy pony rides, and visit a petting zoo. Pond-side fun includes cane pole fishing, and young explorers can try out the Touch-a-Tractor area, featuring both small excavators they can operate and larger tractors to climb on. The day also features live entertainment and local food vendors, with performances by Five for Fighting and the Lt. Dan Band, presented in partnership with the Gary Sinise Foundation.

Broken Wheel Music & Arts Festival
Nolensville’s premier community arts festival returns on Saturday, September 6th at Mill Creek Brewing Co. The festival combines live music from regional artists, artisan vendor booths, food trucks, local crafts, and children’s attractions, including bounce houses and a Kids Zone. Proceeds from the event support Round Up for Nolensville, a 100% local, volunteer-led nonprofit that helps residents within the 37135 area code with essential needs like food, clothing, housing, and medical assistance.
Nature Fest
Fairview’s annual Nature Fest returns to Bowie Nature Park on Saturday, September 20th, from 9 am to 4 pm. Visitors can enjoy live music, arts and crafts vendors, inflatables, a plein-air art exhibit organized by the Fairview Arts Council, food trucks, and nature-themed activities for kids. Attendees can also explore the history and ecology of the park through educational booths and exhibitor displays. This year’s festival will also feature the Williamson County Animal Center’s mobile pet adoption unit, giving guests the chance to meet animals looking for their forever homes.

Morning Glory Orchard
Morning Glory Orchard in Nolensville hosts a variety of fall activities each year. Guided Cider Tastings begin September 6th, giving guests the chance to sample fruit ciders while learning about the orchard’s process. Fall Family Field Trips start October 7th, offering children and parents an educational tour with hands-on farming activities. From October 21st through November 1st, the orchard also welcomes visitors for self-guided orchard walks, available Tuesday through Friday.
Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary
Brentwood’s Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary has a full lineup of fall programming in 2025. The season begins with Dinner in the Forest on Sunday, September 14th, an elegant outdoor dining event featuring cocktails and farm-to-fork fare in the peaceful setting of the sanctuary. On Friday, September 19th, guests can join a guided Lantern Hike, with a second lantern-lit hike set for Halloween night, October 31st.
Music lovers can enjoy Music in the Meadow on October 4th, with a concert by Bill Lloyd, Don Henry, and Buddy Mondlock.
On October 11th, the sanctuary will host a guided Fall Color Hike, offering a look at seasonal foliage. Additional hikes are scheduled for October 18th and 25th, as well as November 1st, 8th, and 15th, giving visitors multiple chances to experience the progression of autumn colors across the sanctuary.
Rounding out the schedule, the Fall Native Plant Sale takes place October 25th, with pre-orders available October 14th through 21st and pick-up on October 24th.
Lucky Ladd Farms
Lucky Ladd Farms in Eagleville is a standout fall destination in Middle Tennessee, offering a mix of traditional farm fun and seasonal events throughout autumn 2025. The Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze kicks off the season running from September 20th through October 31st, where visitors can browse thousands of pumpkins, explore the corn maze, enjoy kettle corn, caramel apples, pumpkin spice lattes, and apple cider donuts
The Fall Family Fun Festival follows on September 27th and 28th, featuring live music, a makers market, kid-focused vendors, and seasonal food offerings
Campin’ in the Park
Spring Hill’s Fischer Park will host Campin’ in the Park on September 27th through 28th, offering families the chance to enjoy an overnight camping adventure close to home. Tent camping will be set up on the park’s athletic fields, with a full schedule of outdoor sessions, a family movie under the stars, and activities for all ages. The event begins Saturday morning and wraps up at sunrise on Sunday. Registration is required and will be open from September 2nd through September 21st.

Therapeutics Recreation Fall Festival Dance & Hayride
The Franklin Recreation Complex will host this inclusive fall celebration on October 16th. Guests can take part in a hayride, enjoy dinner, and dance to a live DJ. The event is designed for participants of the PALS Program (People at Leisure with Support), ensuring accessibility for those who need caregiver support.
Nashville Highlight

Cheekwood Harvest
From September 13th through October 30th, Cheekwood Estate & Gardens hosts Cheekwood Harvest, one of Nashville’s most photographed fall events. Guests can walk through the famous Pumpkin Village, featuring more than 75,000 pumpkins and whimsical pumpkin houses, along with colorful mum displays and a scarecrow trail.
