Country Music Legend Gene Watson to Perform October 25 at Harken Hall

Nashville, Tenn. (June 2, 2025) – Country music legend and Grand Ole Opry Member Gene Watson is set to perform for an unforgettable evening Saturday, October 25 at Harken Hall, one of Nashville’s newest concert venues.

Known for his rich baritone voice and timeless hits, Gene Watson has been captivating audiences for decades with songs like “Farewell Party,” “Fourteen Carat Mind” and “Love in the Hot Afternoon.” From his chart-topping soulful gospel albums to his No. 1 country standards, few artists have left a more indelible mark on America’s musical landscape than Gene Watson.

Watson has been thrilling audiences for 60 years. This masterful country stylist from Houston, Texas, known as “The Singer’s Singer,” has more than 75 charted titles, 23 Top 10 hits, six No. 1 country singles and five No. 1 gospel hits. Watson is also a member of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame and the Houston, Texas Music Hall of Fame.

It’s safe to say that most knowledgeable country fans would point to Gene Watson as one of country music’s best ballad singers in the same league as country icons George Jones, Merle Haggard, Ray Price and others who are the standard-bearers for honest, traditional country music.
