CASS Contemporary Presents: “Tristan Eaton: Lately” – A New Exhibit Debuting November 15

Nashville, Tenn.  October 15, 2025CASS Contemporary is thrilled to announce “Tristan Eaton: Lately,” a captivating new solo exhibition from internationally acclaimed artist Tristan Eaton. The show will debut on November 15, 2025, with an opening reception open to the public from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at CASS Contemporary in Nashville, Tennessee. “Tristan Eaton: Lately” — marking the artist’s debut solo exhibition in Nashville — features an exclusive collection of brand-new works on wood and paper, showcasing Eaton’s signature style: vibrant, layered compositions blending fine art, street culture, and graphic design. This new body of work offers a fresh, intimate look at Eaton’s evolving creative work while honoring the themes that have defined his career.

“This is a collection of very personal paintings showcasing the duality of the human experience. Mostly featured as diptychs, these works use gallows humor and spray paint to explore the impact of love, loss and death on our daily lives,” says Eaton about his works that will be on display at “Lately”.

A Los Angeles native and lifelong innovator, Eaton has left an indelible mark on both commercial and fine art. From his early days as a teenage graffiti artist to designing the iconic Dunny and Munny toys for Kidrobot, his career has been defined by a fearless crossing of boundaries. As the founder of Thunderdog Studios, he’s collaborated with global brands like Nike, luxury watch brand Hublot, SpaceX, and Universal.

Eaton’s influence stretches across continents, with large-scale murals painted entirely freehand gracing walls in Paris, New York, Shanghai, and beyond. His fine artwork is held in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum; and his 25-year retrospective at the Long Beach Museum of Art affirmed his standing as a leader in contemporary art.

He also holds rare licensing partnerships with Marvel and Universal Studios, a testament to his unique position at the intersection of pop culture and fine art. Eaton’s work continues to bridge tradition and innovation, honoring graffiti culture while pushing artistic boundaries, a spirit fully captured in this latest collection, “Lately”.

This special debut invites art lovers, collectors, novices, and fans alike to experience Eaton’s newest creations up close and in person.

“We’ve followed Tristan’s career and been close friends for years,” says Cassie Greatens of CASS Contemporary. “We are so excited to be a part of bringing his work to Nashville. His ability to balance raw energy with thoughtful storytelling makes this exhibit especially powerful.”

Tristan Eaton’s solo exhibition “Lately” will be on display from November 15, 2025 to February 15, 2026.
