Brentwood Library kicking off Harry Potter program with a special birthday party

The Brentwood Library is beginning a new program aimed especially at fans of the Harry Potter books, and it’s getting things underway with a special birthday party on Saturday, Jan. 9 from 2-5 p.m.
The Severus Snape’s Birthday Bash is the theme of the Harry Potter Alliance – Chamber of Knowledge Kick-Off, which will be held at the library located at 8109 Concord Road. Severus Snape is one of the many characters in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series.
No registration is necessary for the party, but there are a couple of classes on the schedule that require registration. Those interested in the wand making (2, 2:20 and 4:20 p.m.) or the potions (3, 3:20 and 3:40 p.m.) classes should contact the Brentwood Library to register, at 615) 371-0090 or through its website.
The party will feature Harry Potter trivia at 4 p.m., as well as butter beer, chocolate frogs, a photo booth, and many other Harry Potter-themed crafts.
