BELL Construction Breaks Ground on the Williamson County Schools Innovation Hub
Brentwood, Tenn. — December 5, 2024 — Brentwood-based BELL Construction (BELL), in partnership with Williamson County Schools (WCS), Oversite Consulting and Kline Swinney Associates (KSA), today announced that it has officially broken ground on the WCS Innovation Hub. A ceremony was held on December 3 at 1 p.m. on the Franklin High School campus, marking the start of a project that will expand career-focused educational opportunities for high school students across the county.
BELL Construction is serving as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the 22,000-square-foot Innovation Hub, a pioneering educational facility set to provide Williamson County students with hands-on learning and skill-building opportunities in high-demand fields such as aviation, hospitality, culinary arts, business leadership, industrial arts, tourism and technology. Centrally located on the Franklin High School campus, the hub will serve students countywide and is expected to set a new standard for career-focused educational spaces.
“At BELL Construction, we are proud to have called Williamson County home for decades, and it’s especially meaningful for us to work on a project that will have such a profound impact on our own community,” said Eric Pyle, president of BELL. “The Innovation Hub is a testament to the vision of Williamson County Schools and their commitment to preparing students for success in high-demand industries. We’re honored to partner with the County, Oversite Consulting and Kline Swinney Associates to bring this transformative educational facility to life.”
The Innovation Hub will feature open-concept, flexible learning spaces with advanced technology designed to replicate real-world work environments, offering students an immersive educational experience beyond traditional classrooms. Supported by WCS staff and local business partners, the facility will engage students in industry-relevant, hands-on learning that fosters both technical and leadership skills, equipping them with diverse, career-ready abilities to excel in the modern workforce.
The new facility will be located at 106 Claude Yates Drive in Franklin, Tenn., and is tentatively scheduled to open to students by the start of the 2026 academic school year.
