Back to School
The school year is now underway for all seven Franklin Special School District schools. Students at Poplar Grove began July 21 on the balanced calendar, and the remaining six FSSD schools got underway Monday, Aug. 14.
Children are almost always excited and nervous about the prospects a new school year will bring. That excitement is also felt by their parents, teachers, principals and district administrators. We look forward to making sure every child knows how special they are and how hard we will work to help them achieve their greatest potential.
We realize that we are entrusted with your most valuable possessions, and we are very serious about how we spend those seven hours a day together. We will make great strides in their learning as we partner with you at home. If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s education, our doors are always open. If your child’s teacher cannot resolve the problem, please contact your school principal. We will work with the principal to make sure each student has the tools they need for a successful school experience.
