Abrakadoodle program

Ahoy mates!  Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s Arts and Crafts Abrakadoodle program at the Franklin Recreation Complex hosts “Pirate Island Camp” for kids ages 6 to 13 on Monday, March 19th to Friday, March 23rd from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  The five day camp leads young swashbucklers on a creative pirate-themed journey as they make pirate ships, colorful parrots, treasure maps, sea monsters, ship flags, doubloon necklaces, treasure chests and more!  Participants use their “Abrakadoodle Pirate Kit” to explore techniques in cartooning, origami, sand painting, sculpture and cartography while making their creations.  Cost for the camp is $115.00 with a supply fee of $35.00 that includes the Pirate Kit and all materials, props, games, stories and music used in class.  The kids even get to take home their leftover materials for fun at home!  Arrrrrrrrrrgh!
