Mojo’s Tacos
One of the most popular catering experiences in and around Nashville, Mojo’s Taco Truck, is the mobile extension of Mojo’s Tacos, a restaurant that also offers dine in, take out, and catering. The menu is constantly being innovated; however, the tacos are always made with fresh meats and produce, handmade corn and flour tortillas, and sauces made from scratch daily. Alongside the signature tacos, Mojo’s also serves classic starters such as chips and salsa, guacamole, queso, and quesadillas. Kid’s menu items come with an added bonus—all-natural paleta popsicles. The taco truck is known to make appearances around the community, from large events to neighborhood parties. The truck offers the same menu as the restaurant, including Mojo’s signature “puffy” taco, wrapped in a fried flour tortilla.
The restaurant began as a food truck in 2017, and 1 year later opened its location in the Factory at Franklin. Mojo’s is co-owned by Dave Story, Bill Butler, Travis Anderson, and Jason Smith. The restaurant’s beloved namesake, Mojo the Bull, is a gentle giant that lives just a few miles away, where he enjoys his life on the farm watching over his herd. You can make inquiries about Mojo’s taco truck here, or visit one of their 3 brick-and-mortar locations in Franklin, Nolensville, and Tollgate. Wherever you choose to enjoy tacos, Mojo’s goal is to meet you with the same love and hospitality that Mojo himself enjoys each and every day.

Tchoupitoulas Street Snoballs
Mike Broussard, the owner of Tchoupitoulas Street Snoballs, wanted to bring a taste of his New Orleans home to downtown Franklin. The name originates from the first snoball stand to grace the streets of NOLA in the 1930s, which is still around. Broussard frequented the stand when he lived there, before moving with his family shortly after Hurricane Katrina. As a caveat, Tchoupitoulas wants you to know that snoballs, the popular summer treat, are not to be confused with their close relative, the sno-cone. Snoballs are a delicacy made from expertly shaved ice, so the consistency is less icy and more like fine snow in the winter. Another contrast, the syrup that goes on top of a snoball is made from pure cane sugar and extracts, as opposed to more artificial flavoring.
Tchoupitoulas has over 30 flavored syrups to choose from, from fruity and sour to classically sweet. You can also opt for a cream base, such as Amaretto cream or Cafe Au Lait. Popular toppings include caramel, condensed milk, chocolate syrup, and whipped cream. Prices range from $2.50 (Kids Cup) to $5 (Large). For event inquiries and pricing, you can fill out their online form. Regularly, Tchoupitoulas’ stand is located on 5th Avenue North in Downtown Franklin and open seasonally from 2-6 p.m. on weekdays and 12-6 p.m. on weekends.
