TAILOR NASHVILLE REOPENS AUGUST 6 WITH LAUNCH OF SUMMER MENU

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tailor Nashville has offered a simple, timeless dinner party setting since its conception, and perhaps now more than ever, this intimate experience will offer a welcomed new way to dine in light of the pandemic. Reservations are now available to experience the summer menu of the nationally-acclaimed Tailor Nashville beginning Thursday, Aug. 6. To begin, Tailor will offer one seating at 7 p.m. per night, Thursday through Sunday, with reservations capped at 50 percent capacity to ensure proper social distancing between guests.

“We’ve given careful thought to the way we can safely reopen for our guests given the current conditions, and in many ways I’m excited for the opportunity to have just one seating per night as it allows us to really slow down and enjoy the experience alongside our guests,” said Vivek Surti, culinary creator of Tailor. “We’ve always prided ourselves with the personal attention we can give each guest and every dish we serve, and we see this as an opportunity to lean in even more to that service-centered philosophy.”

The August opening will be the launch of the Summer 2020 menu, featuring fresh flavors of the season including:

  • Corn Chevdo, poha, peanuts, red chile
  • Cucumber, watermelon, cilantro chutney, tulsi oil
  • Beets, cashew butter, lemon achanu, dill
  • Yellow Wax Beans, chana dal, onions, curry leaf
  • Ora King Salmon, summer squash, turmeric, coconut
  • Duck Breast, aranya pepper, tamarind, jaggery
  • Duck Biryani, basmati, orange, saffron, raisins
  • Falooda Panna Cotta, rose, yogurt, tukmaria, pistachio

Tailor is a proud partner of the LEE Initiative’s Restaurant Reboot Relief Program, which committed a million dollars to purchasing food from sustainable farmers in 16 regions to give directly to restaurants in those areas. Tailor, City House and Henrietta Red were chosen as the program’s partner restaurants in Nashville, and Tailor’s summer menu will feature local bounty including duck through Wedge Oak Farm and vegetables from Farmer Dave’s and Pig + Leaf Farm as part of this initiative.
