BrightStone Picnic
The Franklin Civitan Club recently hosted its annual barbecue picnic and bingo night for BrightStone’s special needs adults, their families, and the BrightStone staff. BrightStone has been a beneficiary of this annual event for 5 years, and each year BrightStone students and their families look forward to the evening.
“There was a great turnout at this year’s barbecue picnic, and everyone had a wonderful time,” shared BrightStone’s Executive Director, Brenda Hauk. “We love spending time with our friends at the Civitan Club and look forward to it every year. Their support is such a blessing!” The Civitan Club also presented a $500 check to BrightStone to fund its programming for adults with special needs.
BrightStone is a resource in the community providing job training and employment opportunities for adults who are developmentally disabled.
