Following last year’s sold-out debut, WCPAC continues a new tradition featuring performers who call Williamson County home
The Williamson County Performing Arts Center (WCPAC) at Academy Park and the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (WCPR) are excited to announce auditions for Give My Regards to Broadway, an original musical revue featuring a cast made up entirely of Williamson County residents.
The tradition began last year with A Salute to the Tonys, when 32 Williamson County performers came together for a celebration of Tony Award-winning musicals. WCPAC wasn’t sure how audiences would respond to musical theatre, but the answer was clear: both performances sold out, and audiences loved it.
This year, Give My Regards to Broadway expands beyond Tony Award-winning shows to music from across the Broadway canon, giving the creative team even more possibilities to build a one-of-a-kind revue around the performers selected for the cast.
While Broadway returns as the theme, the heart of this tradition is Williamson County. Every performer selected will be a county resident, bringing together some of the incredible singers, dancers, actors, and musicians living right here in our own backyard.
Performers of ALL ages and talents are encouraged to audition. WCPAC especially hopes to see adults who may be ready to step back into the spotlight. Whether you perform regularly or haven’t been onstage in years, this could be your reason to take center stage again.
