How Students Qualify for the Titans Regional Spelling Bee
Students begin at the school level with local spelling bee competitions. Winners advance as school champions. Those champions move forward to an online qualifier round. Selected students then compete in the regional finals at Nissan Stadium. The structure ensures fair competition across all participating regions. Each stage increases in difficulty and scope.
Eligible students include public, private, charter, and homeschool participants. Students must be enrolled in participating schools through eighth grade. Shelby County students participate through a separate Scripps region. This system allows broad participation while maintaining a structured regional format.
