Iroquois Steeplechase 2026: New Music Stage & Expanded Experiences

Iroquois Steeplechase 2026: New Music Stage & Expanded Experiences

The Iroquois Steeplechase returns for its 85th anniversary on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Percy Warner Park. Sponsored by Bank of America, this year’s event introduces new entertainment, expanded hospitality spaces, and enhanced race-day experiences while continuing its long-standing charitable mission.

Often called Nashville’s “Rite of Spring,” the event blends world-class jump racing, Southern hospitality, fashion, philanthropy, and live music into one of the city’s most anticipated annual traditions. With more than 25,000 spectators, race day delivers both elite competition and a full-day social experience.

For 2026, several new additions are reshaping race day.

The Big 98 Stage Debuts in Centerfield

In partnership with iHeartMedia Nashville and 97.9 The BIG 98, race organizers are launching The Big 98 Stage, a brand-new live music experience in Centerfield.

For the first time in event history, live Nashville-based artists will perform throughout the day, adding continuous entertainment between races. All ticket holders will have access to the stage, bringing Music City’s sound directly into the heart of the Steeplechase grounds. The full artist lineup will be announced closer to race day.

The partnership places live, local music directly into the race-day experience.

Magnolia Garden includes:

  • Gourmet catering
  • Full beverage service
  • Guaranteed seating
  • Patio views
  • Prime location with premium sightlines to the races
  • Upscale restroom facilities

The redesign reflects a broader effort to modernize race-day hospitality while maintaining the event’s long-standing traditions.

Guests can expect:

  • DJ entertainment
  • Lounge seating
  • Dance floor
  • Dedicated cash bar
  • Added VIP comfort and amenities

For many attendees, Royal 615 is where music, fashion, and celebration converge. The expanded footprint allows more guests to participate in one of Nashville’s most talked-about race-day gatherings.

The Iroquois Steeplechase: A Tradition with Community Impact

Beyond the racing and celebration, the Iroquois Steeplechase maintains a significant charitable mission. Since 1981, proceeds generated by the Volunteer State Horsemen’s Foundation have contributed more than $11.4 million to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

That philanthropic foundation remains central to the event’s identity, even as new experiences are introduced.

The event takes place Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Percy Warner Park. Tickets are now available at IroquoisSteeplechase.org.
