Whiskey & Wags: Dog-Friendly Whiskey Festival Coming to Nashville

Whiskey & Wags: Dog-Friendly Whiskey Festival Coming to Nashville

Tennessee whiskey, live music, local food, and four-legged friends are all coming together for a new spring festival set against one of Nashville’s most historic backdrops.

On Saturday, March 28th, from 2 to 5 pm, Two Rivers Mansion will host the inaugural Whiskey & Wags, a dog-friendly whiskey festival presented by Friends of Two Rivers in partnership with the Tennessee Distillers Guild and the Tennessee Whiskey Trail.

The rain-or-shine event invites guests 21 and older to sample spirits from more than 20 Tennessee distilleries, explore the historic mansion, enjoy live music, browse local vendors, and spend a relaxed afternoon outdoors, with dogs welcome on the grounds.

Whether you’re a whiskey enthusiast, a dog lover, or both, Whiskey & Wags is set to become a new spring tradition in Nashville that you won’t want to miss.

A Tennessee Whiskey Experience with a Twist

Whiskey festivals are nothing new in Tennessee, but Whiskey & Wags adds a fresh element: a pet-friendly atmosphere in a historic setting.

Two Rivers Mansion is an antebellum home built in 1859 and one of the few remaining examples of Italianate architecture in Nashville. Surrounded by expansive green space and historic outbuildings, the mansion now operates as an event venue, while the surrounding grounds are part of Two Rivers Park, offering a blend of history and open-air gathering space just minutes from downtown Nashville.

During Whiskey & Wags, guests can stroll the lawn while sampling spirits from distilleries across the state. Lawn chairs are encouraged, giving attendees the option to settle in, listen to live music, and enjoy food offerings between tastings at their own pace.

About the Tennessee Whiskey Trail

Whiskey & Wags is presented in partnership with the Tennessee Whiskey Trail, an initiative launched in 2017 by the Tennessee Distillers Guild. Designed as both a celebration and a guide, the Trail now features more than 30 stops across the state. It encourages visitors to explore Tennessee’s distilling heritage, whether for a quick tasting or a weekend road trip. From historic distilleries to newer craft producers, the Tennessee Whiskey Trail highlights how deeply rooted whiskey is in the state’s culture and economy.
