Barn & Working Cats Available Through Williamson County Animal Center
The Williamson County Animal Center serves the community by providing animal care, sheltering, and adoption programs designed to meet a wide range of needs for both residents and animals. One of those programs offers an alternative adoption option for cats whose strengths and instincts are best suited to outdoor living.
For those who have the need for cats that would prefer to spend most of their days outdoors, earning their keep by controlling rodent populations, WCAC offers a barn and working cat adoption program. Some cats have no desire to be a snuggly, lap cat, but they will thrive in settings such as the security and comfort of a barn and companionship of the other farm animals, or perhaps in a workshop or warehouse. Barn or working cats are available at no cost.
