Joyland Comes to Southall Farm & Inn
A new reason to visit Southall Farm and Inn has arrived, no overnight stay required. Joyland, the chef-driven fast food concept founded by James Beard Award-winning Chef Sean Brock, is now serving from a food truck on the Southall property, offering an easy, approachable way for locals to experience the resort’s culinary side.
The Joyland truck is parked at The Rambling Pad, near Southall’s greenhouses and before the guard gate. Like The Jammery, it’s accessible to the public without check-in, reinforcing Southall’s growing effort to welcome non-guests for food and drink.
Joyland focuses on familiar favorites like burgers, fried chicken, fries, and shakes, all made with care and quality ingredients. While the menu is intentionally straightforward, the sourcing reflects the same farm-forward mindset that defines Southall. The truck relies on regional purveyors for key ingredients, making it a natural fit for the property’s agricultural roots.
This location marks Joyland’s third Middle Tennessee outpost, joining existing locations in East Nashville and Sylvan Heights. Its presence at Southall adds a casual counterpoint to the resort’s more formal dining experiences, creating a stop that works just as well for a quick lunch as it does for a relaxed afternoon outing.
The Joyland food truck is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm, with delivery available through services like Uber Eats and Postmates. For Franklin-area residents, it’s a convenient way to enjoy a taste of Southall with no reservation, room key, or special occasion needed!
