Boutique Fitness Brand barre3 Announces Second Location in Williamson County
The locally owned and operated studio will open this summer at Canteen on Carothers
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Barre3, a global network of studios and the innovative leader of the barre fitness movement, will open its newest location in the Cool Springs, Tennessee area in Summer 2025. Located at 793 Crescent Centre Dr., the state-of-the-art studio is co-owned by Nashvillians Annie Williams, Jessie Ganick and Francie Corcoran. The trio also owns barre3 Brentwood located in Brentwood, Tennessee.
Barre3 is a fitness and wellness company that inspires movement, mindfulness and connection. Since launching in 2008, barre3 has grown to over 200 studios around the globe, building a worldwide community of fiercely loyal fans who are inspired by healthy, balanced living and captivated by the full-body workouts in studios and online. Throughout a barre3 signature class, which are offered in both 45- and 60-minute formats, attendees will be guided through sustained holds, muscle-burning micro-movements and heart-pumping cardio bursts. The brand also offers a B3 Strength class, which focuses on slower tempos, heavier resistance and proper form, as well as a B3 Cardio class, which is designed to increase stamina and amplify energy.
“Over many years, barre3 has given me the gift of grace towards myself, the gift of community with so many incredible humans and a focus on feeling strong in my body rather than looking a certain way,” said Jessie Ganick, co-owner of barre3 Brentwood and Franklin. “As a Nashville native, I grew up in Brentwood and dreamed of bringing barre3 to the community for several years. That dream came true in 2019 when we opened Barre3 Brentwood, and after tough years surviving the pandemic as a small business, it feels surreal to be expanding our studio community into Franklin.”
Co-Owner Annie Williams added, “I am thrilled to bring Barre3 to the Franklin community. From the moment I took my very first class nearly 10 years ago, I’ve believed deeply in barre3’s mission to redefine what success in fitness means—especially for women. It’s about balance, strength and connection, both inside and out, rather than chasing an external ideal. This practice has supported me through so many seasons of life—as a mom, a busy executive and now as an instructor and co-owner of two studios here in Williamson County. While growing our business is exciting, it truly feels like we’re expanding our family.”
The 1600 square-foot studio is located in the new Canteen on Carothers shopping center near the intersection of Cool Springs Blvd. and Carothers Pkwy. The 10-acre mixed-use development, which is currently under construction, is owned by Stockbridge Capital Group.
Barre3 Franklin is the fourth location to open in the Greater Nashville area. The Franklin studio joins its sister studio, barre3 Brentwood, in Williamson County. The two Nashville studios in the Gulch and on White Bridge Rd. are under separate ownership.
