NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 18, 2025) – Two Nashville natives, Sara Jo Houghland Walker and Carol Fite Lynn, are proud to announce the launch of Bright Hour Strategies, a communications, public relations, and strategic marketing firm dedicated to empowering brands throughout Tennessee and the Southeast. Bright Hour Strategies aims to support organizations through tailored public relations, strategic communications, and comprehensive marketing and community strategies.

Having cultivated their professional journeys in tandem with Middle Tennessee’s evolution, Walker and Lynn bring over 30 years of combined experience to their new venture. Their vision is to offer customized public relations and marketing solutions that help clients flourish amid competition.

After a rewarding tenure with the State of Tennessee and over 12 years at Comcast, Sara Jo is excited to embark on this entrepreneurial journey.

“This has been a dream of mine for over a decade, and I believe now is the perfect moment to take this leap,” said Sara Jo Houghland Walker, President and Founder of Bright Hour Strategies. “Bright Hour Strategies was created with the belief that every brand deserves a “Bright Hour” and a unique approach to public relations and marketing,” said Sara Jo Houghland Walker, President and Founding Partner.

Sara Jo brings nearly two decades of expertise in corporate communications, media relations, and crisis management. Her strategic insight helps clients build and maintain a positive public image through effective relationship management and compelling messaging.

Partner Carol Fite Lynn adds over 15 years of experience in communications and marketing, particularly within the healthcare sector. Her background includes developing and executing integrated marketing plans that align with clients’ business objectives, focusing on collaboration with executives and community leaders.

Previously she built the brands and led internal and external communications and marketing for three multi-site organizations with locations throughout the country, driving the organizations’ strategic marketing, earned media and community relations, with an emphasis on digital and social media tactics.

“Bright Hour Strategies is about more than just business; it’s about empowering our local community,” said Carol Fite Lynn. “We want to help companies navigate the complexities of today’s marketplace and shine in their respective industries.”

Bright Hour Strategies specializes in:

  • Public Relations and Strategic Communications
