Tennessee Equine Hospital Expands Network of Care with Fifth Location
Group Partnering with Wilhelm Equine Services to Form Tennessee Equine Hospital East
THOMPSON’S STATION, Tenn. (12/19/2024) – Tennessee Equine Hospital (TEH), a trusted leader in equine care across the southeast, is expanding its service area with the opening of Tennessee Equine Hospital East in Shelbyville, Tennessee. TEH’s fifth location is in partnership with Wilhelm Equine Services, which has served the community in Shelbyville for over 20 years.
TEH East completes the hospital group’s extensive care network, with the main facility in Thompson’s Station acting as a referral center for four satellite hospitals located in Gallatin and Eads, Tennessee; Harvest, Alabama; and now Shelbyville, Tennessee. This integrated model ensures continuity of care across all facilities, with 24/7 availability and a dedicated team.

TEH East will feature a team of experienced veterinarians and support staff who will provide ambulatory services throughout the region, bringing veterinary care directly to area farms and homes at the convenience of horse owners. There are also plans for an urgent care haul-in facility to open in early 2025.
