About the Factory at Franklin
Originally built in 1929, this sprawling complex of factory buildings began as the home of Dortch Stove Works and later housed The Jamison Bedding Company. Following a period of dormancy in the 1990s, The Factory was rehabilitated and repurposed to provide a home for local artisans, boutiques, and restaurants. In 2021, Holladay Properties acquired the property and continued the revitalization efforts, making way for even more shops, dining options, and entertainment venues.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Factory is a truly unique space that draws visitors from near and far. With its industrial charm and diverse mix of tenants, it’s a must-visit for locals and visitors alike.
