Williamson County Parks and Recreation
You can always count on Williamson County Parks and Recreation to have some fun things lined up to keep the kids entertained and learning during Spring Break. Whether it’s building with Legos at Brickeology, mastering the basics of pickleball and sewing, or exploring the world of construction with RoboThink, there’s something for every kid. Older teens can even take a lifeguard training course and get a head start on summer job opportunities!
Brickeology Spring Break Camp
Brickeology’s Lego Camp offers a four-day program for kids ages 6 to 12 with activities designed to spark creativity, challenge minds, and foster teamwork. From brain games to collaborative challenges and free building sessions, campers will have endless opportunities to use their imaginations and put their building skills to the test. The highlight? Building and racing their creations on a 20-foot track! At the end of camp, each participant will take home a custom Lego kit to commemorate their experience. Primrose Sewing
Sewing isn’t just for grandma! Boys and girls ages 7 to 13 are invited to learn a new skill at Primrose Sewing Spring Break Sewing Workshops. Beginner Pickleball Camp
Pickleball is a fun activity for all ages and skill levels, but where do you start if you’re new to the game? How about Pickleball Camp? This six-hour clinic covers everything from the fundamentals of the game, like scoring and safety, to essential skills like paddle handling and footwork. Participants will also learn key shots like forehand and backhand drives, serving and returning, dinking and volleying, and even lobs and drop shots. Click the links below to register.

2024 Lifeguard Training Courses
Looking for a rewarding and exciting summer job? Why not spend Spring Break becoming a certified lifeguard? Williamson County Parks and Recreation is offering Spring Break lifeguard training courses at three different locations. Certifications are through the American Red Cross, a nationally recognized certification program. For the classes, students must be 15 years of age on or before the final day of the course. In-person registration is required and all participants must complete and pass all swim tests before starting the class.
In-person registration begins Sunday, March 3rd at 1 pm at the Indoor Sports Complex at 920 Heritage Way in Brentwood. Classes are scheduled as follows:

Owl’s Hill Spring Break Exploratopia Camp
Immerse your child in nature this Spring Break at Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary! This limited-size camp is for kids ages 5 to 11 and is intended to foster a love for the outdoors with hands-on activities like live animal encounters, crafting, building eco-structures, and exploring scenic trails. Campers will bond with friends, learn about environmental stewardship, and receive individual attention while creating lifelong memories. AR Workshop Studio Art Series Camp
AR Workshop’s camps offer a fun and social environment for kids ages 7 to 14 to explore their creativity and learn through hands-on activities. These projects promise to spark imagination and deliver amazing results. Campers will take home their completed projects and a custom art hanger to display them. Projects include Watercolor with Line ARt, Stamp Making & Pillow Painting, Squeegee ARt, 6″x32″ Wood ARt Hanger, and Bleeding Tissue Paper ARt. Cheekwood Estate & Gardens
Spring is blooming at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens! This 55-acre botanical garden and art museum offers a beautiful escape for families during Spring Break. Explore the historic mansion, wander through gardens adorned with 250,000 Spring bulbs, and participate in a variety of seasonal activities. From educational programs to engaging events, Spring at Cheekwood is a delightful experience for the whole family.

Geared towards young children, the “TOTS!” program at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens offers drop-in activities like storytimes, “Turtle Talks” with the garden staff, and more. Designed to encourage the exploration of art and nature in a fun and interactive way, the program features weekly themes inspired by current exhibits or seasonal events. March 9th – May 28th. Cheekwood in Bloom: Belles Fleurs
Cheekwood celebrates the season with a French-inspired floral display, featuring thousands of blooming bulbs in pastel colors reminiscent of Impressionist paintings. Goo Goo Chocolate Company
Craving a taste of history and some sweet treats this Spring Break? Look no further than the Goo Goo Cluster Company! Established in 1912, they’re famous for their namesake candy bar but also offer fun and educational activities perfect for families.
A Taste of Goo Goo
This hands-on workshop lets you become a chocolatier for the day. Learn the secrets behind Nashville’s iconic candy bar, the Goo Goo Cluster, while crafting your own delicious creation.
