CHARITIES CAN APPLY TO BE PART OF LUNCH THAT MATTERS ON NOVEMBER 15TH
Nonprofits serving women and children in Williamson County can now submit applications to be part of the Women of Williamson’s annual Lunch That Matters slated this year for Wednesday, November 15th at the Franklin Cool Springs Marriott. Lunch That Matters benefits locally based charities by providing them with the opportunity to introduce themselves, share their missions and showcase the important work they do to the public. After hearing presentations from each individual nonprofit, attendees at this free-to-attend fundraiser are then given the opportunity to donate and support the charities of their choice.
Each year Women of Williamson chooses a select group of charities to participate as beneficiaries at the luncheon based on criteria that includes the scope and length of their service and the positive impact they have on the lives of women and children here in the community. The charitable organizations selected to speak at the luncheon will each be given a platform and designated time during the fundraiser to present their mission, story and needs before the luncheon audience.
Charities interested in participating in this year’s Lunch That Matters may apply by contacting Linda Crockett at ljack805@aol.com. The deadline for submitting applications as a nonprofit is October 1st, 2023, and charities chosen to participate will be notified by October 15th.
