The Franklin Theatre Announces Remaining 2023 Performances in Songwriters Series

FRANKLIN, TN – The Franklin Theatre is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated lineup for the remaining performances in their 2023 Songwriters Series. This series has become a staple in the local music scene, showcasing talented artists and songwriters from various genres. With an exciting mix of established and up-and-coming acts, these upcoming performances promise to be unforgettable experiences for music lovers of all kinds. Previous events have featured prominent songwriters including Trent Harmon, Earl Bud Lee, Erin Enderlin, and newly-inducted Hall of Fame Songwriter Rafe Van Hoy.

Kristian Bush, known for his work as one-half of the Grammy-winning duo Sugarland, will continue the series on August 31st. With his signature blend of country and pop influences, Bush’s performance is sure to captivate audiences of all ages.

Renowned country music duo, The Warren Brothers, will take the stage on September 21st. Brett and Brad Warren, known for their hit songs recorded by top artists such as Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, and Keith Urban, will bring their signature harmonies and heartfelt lyrics to The Franklin Theatre stage.

On October 19th, Mae Estes, Marti Dodson, and Autumn McEntire will take the spotlight. Estes, a rising star in the country music scene, will be joined by Dodson, lead singer of the popular band Saving Jane, and McEntire, a talented singer-songwriter with a captivating stage presence. This dynamic trio is sure to captivate the audience with their unique blend of country, pop, and rock influences.

November 16th will feature a star-studded lineup including Sierra Hull, Jim Lauderdale, Bobby Tomberlin, and Lillie Mae. Hull, a Grammy-nominated mandolinist and vocalist, will showcase her virtuosity and soulful sound. Lauderdale, a prolific songwriter and Grammy-winning artist, will bring his rich musical heritage to the stage. Tomberlin, known for his hit songs recorded by country music legends, will share his storytelling prowess. Lillie Mae, a multi-instrumentalist and frequent Jack White collaborator, will round out the evening with her distinctive blend of country and rock.

Closing out the series for the year on December 14th will be Adam Sanders, Adam Craig, and Jordan Walker. Sanders, a talented singer-songwriter, has penned hits for artists such as Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley. Craig, known for his powerful vocals and energetic performances, will bring his country-rock sound to the stage. Walker, co-writer of certified 9x platinum Luke Combs single “When It Rains, It Pours,” will showcase his songwriting skills and commanding vocal ability.
