BBB Announces Local Winners of 2022 BBB Torch Award for Ethics
Better Business Bureau, serving Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky, recently recognized five businesses for their commitment to ethical business practices.
BBB 2022 Torch Awards winners are Hunt Memorials, SMNutrition, Automated Collection Services, Earl Swensson Associates, and Rackley Roofing.
The Torch Awards for Ethics is the most prestigious honor BBB bestows on businesses operating within Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. Winners are selected based on their commitment to ensuring the organization’s practices meet the highest standards of ethics, operational integrity, and ethical business practices.
“This award allows BBB to highlight businesses that are making a difference in their communities while intentionally maintaining a positive work environment for employees,” said Robyn Householder, President, and CEO of BBB serving Middle TN and Southern KY. “In this changing environment, it is great to honor businesses committed to maintaining trust and doing what is right in the marketplace.”
Companies are judged in one of four categories based on the number of employees. A business in the Small Business Category can have no more than ten employees. In the medium business category, no more than 25 employees. In the Large business category, no more than 99 employees, and in the Extra-Large business category, more than 100 employees.
Hunt Memorials was named the Small Business Category winner, SMNutrition received the Medium Business Category award, Automated Collection Services, received the Large Business Category award, Earl Swensson Associates, was named in the Extra-Large Business Category, and Rackley Roofing, was named as the Finalist in the Extra-Large Business Category.
One winner stated, “It means a lot to be recognized for this award. We are genuinely grateful.” Another winner said, “We are thankful to BBB for all they do and honored to receive this award.”
