THREE SOUTHERN AUTO GROUPS JOIN CARMIGO’S PARTNERED BUYERS

Well-known dealers across the South are now active in Carmigo’s online marketplace.

Tupelo-based tech startup Carmigo has partnered with notable auto groups across the South to provide a strong base of buyers for its online marketplace. Barnes Crossing Auto GroupAmerica’s Car-Mart and Callahan Motors are just three of the company’s well-known partners throughout the region.

The auto groups can now purchase cars being sold by individuals using Carmigo. Rather than solely relying on local walk-in customers looking to trade in their cars and traditional auctions, these partners are able to take advantage of inventory across the region.

“Carmigo was initially created as a solution to the used-car inventory shortage that many dealerships were seeing across the country,” said Andrew Warmath, CEO and co-founder of Carmigo. “As Carmigo has evolved to support large buyers and individual sellers equally, it has been great to see this mutually beneficial relationship form. Our partners are an essential part of the process, and we are proud to be able to help connect them with sellers beyond their local markets.”

In addition to having access to front-line inventory and easy bidding, Carmigo partners also have the added benefit of hassle-free title transfers and paperwork and hands-off vehicle transportation.

“Carmigo has been a refreshing alternative to inventory acquisition for me,” said Brian Fox, used car buyer at Barnes Crossing Auto Group. At traditional auctions, finding great units has become more challenging every day. With Carmigo, I have access to an entire auction of retail-ready vehicles! I love it! Those rare finds from traditional auctions aren’t so rare on the Carmigo platform.”

Carmigo has ensured that its virtual car listings can be easily compiled by customers while still providing accurate information regarding the vehicle’s condition. Individual sellers are asked to share basic details such as make, model and mileage, but also compile a visual listing comprised of 13 images that buyers can view during the online auction process.

“I am confident in buying cars from Carmigo,” said Matt Callahan, owner at Callahan Motors. “The inspections are very detailed and I have been very pleased with the accuracy of each inspection I’ve received so far. That is what gives me confidence in buying a car from Carmigo.”
