Williamson County Senior Cookbook
The Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s Senior Division presents the first cookbook of Williamson County’s finest:
“Traditions: A Collection of Recipes from Williamson County Seniors”
Good cooks ages 55 and older were called upon in January to begin perusing their recipe boxes for a worthy contribution to the county effort. Food connoisseurs from one end of the county to the other responded in earnest, enabling the cookbook coordinators to compile a treasury of 227 delicious recipes! In addition to the recipes, contributors were also encouraged to tell the story behind the ingredients; the age-old traditions and history mixed into the food. Traditions is not your average cookbook, it is a savory snapshot of Williamson County culture. Get yours today!
Sold only at the Franklin Recreation Complex front desk, the cookbook is $10.00, tax included. For more information, contact the Senior Division at 790-5719, ext. 25. The Franklin Recreation Complex is located at 1120 Hillsboro Rd. in Franklin.
