VALENTINE ARTS CLASSES
AT THE LONGVIEW RECREATION CENTER
The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department announces Valentine art classes for kids in February at the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Drive in Spring Hill. We are a public organization, here to benefit the community. Anyone, including out-of-county residents, can register for and participate in our classes – even if you don’t have a facility pass! BE MY VALENTINE!
Parents and Grandparents, even Aunts and Uncles love receiving handmade Valentines from their favorite little sweetheart! In this class kids ages 2-10 will use construction paper, doilies, markers, stickers and more to create up to 3 charming Valentine’s Day cards for special family and friends. “Be My Valentine” will meet Thursday, February 12th from 5:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. The fee for the class is $3. VALENTINE’S DAY “STUFF-A-BEAR” WORKSHOP
Celebrate Valentine’s Day in a special way this year with friends or family. Children ages 2-12 are invited to the “Stuff-A-Bear” workshop on Saturday, February 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Participants will stuff a cute, cuddly Valentine’s bear and make a special Valentine’s Day wish, name the bear with a birth certificate and decorate a take-home bag. Children will also have the option of dressing their bear in an outfit or decorating a t-shirt for their bear for an additional fee. The class fee is $8 with a minimum $5 supply fee (additional $5-15 for t-shirts or outfits). Children ages 2-4 require parent participation.
