The TMA Group Welcomes Three New Board Members

The TMA Group (Transportation Management Association) is pleased to welcome three new Board Members: Brad Dunn, Williamson County Chamber of Commerce; Jeremiah Pyron, Office of Economic Development – Williamson County; and Cyril Stewart, Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Julian Bibb, TMA Chairman, said: “I look forward to working with these three respected professionals, as members of The TMA Group Board of Directors. Developing efficient multimodal transportation options is vital to our area in attracting and retaining businesses in our area. The TMA Group is moving our regional forward in addressing, meeting, and expanding the needs of alternative transportation in an affordable, economically sustainable, and environmentally sound way.”

Brad Dunn

Chairman, Williamson County Chamber of Commerce

Brad Dunn states: “There are few issues that impact the overall health and condition of a community like mobility and transportation when it comes to economic growth and development. The unified Williamson County Chamber is proud of its ongoing affiliation and involvement with the TMA and the work it does to creatively address workforce mobility including local and regional transportation.“ Brad Dunn serves as Area Executive and Financial advisor for the Pinnacle Brentwood market. He previously managed Pinnacle’s Brentwood office since it opened in 2000. Mr. Dunn is a member of the Williamson County Schools Ambassador Program. He is Past Chair of the Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce and Past President of the Brentwood Morning Rotary. He is a graduate of Leadership Brentwood’s Class of 2001.

Jeremiah Pyron

Interim Director, Office of Economic Development – Williamson County

Jeremiah Pyron states: “With a 14% population growth in Williamson County in the past five years and more development to the Brentwood and Cool Springs market underway, transportation is going to become more of a concern, not only on the county level but as a region.  That is why partners such as the TMA Group are so valuable to the community and provide a benefit for our businesses by elevating traffic and lowering transportation costs for their employees.” Jeremiah Pyron works with local and national businesses on relocation and expansion efforts in Williamson County. Prior to joining the Office of Economic Development, Mr. Pyron managed relationships for medium to large businesses at an information technology consulting firm in Cool Springs, while growing relationships with regional technology partners such as Microsoft, Cisco, EMC and Symantec. He is a graduate of Leadership Brentwood and is active in area Chambers of Commerce and nonprofit organizations.

Cyril Stewart

Director of Facility Planning in the department of Space & Facilities Planning at Vanderbilt University Medical Center

Cyril Stewart states: “Vanderbilt has been a leader in implementing creative and effective transportation strategies for many years.  We look forward to continuing our work with an even greater focus on Williamson County.  I appreciate the opportunity of joining The Transportation Management Association Group board and working to find solutions for the transportation challenges facing this great community.” Cyril Stewart oversees the Facility Planning for Vanderbilt University’s eleven million square foot academic medical center. Most recently he has been the champion of distributing the campus to area office buildings and campuses located in surrounding communities. Most notable among these is the new 56 acre One Hundred Oaks campus. This project has become a model of LEED certified, adaptive reuse of a 1967 retail mall. Mr. Stewart is a board member of the American Institute of Architects national board, a Gulf States Regional Director and President of the Heritage Foundation of Franklin and Williamson County.
