Try Tae Kwon Do, pottery or Tai Chi
Teen/Adult Pottery
Join the fun in an ongoing pottery class at the Fairview Recreation Complex every Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Instructor June Lusty teaches hand built and thrown techniques. No experience necessary. There is a $25 supply fee every six classes. Each class is $12. For ages 15 through adults. Tai Chi
Tai Chi is a gentle exercise that is fun and suitable for all ages and capabilities. Using fluid movements, Tai Chi promotes blood flow, increases flexibility and reduces joint pain. Tai Chi is offered on Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the Fairview Recreation Complex, 2714 Fairview Blvd. Classes are two for $18. To register, go to www.wcparksandrec.com.
Tae Kwon Do
Tae Kwon Do instructor Eddie Manor is a 3rd degree Black Belt with 37 years of experience in the art of Tae Kwon Do. This class for children ages 6 through 17 is offered on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Fairview Recreation Complex, 2714 Fairview Blvd. Classes are $60 per month and can be pro-rated (join at any time).
