• Wilson completed 30-of-51 passes for 510 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in Arkansas’ come-from-behind 42-38 win against Texas A&M.
• The 510 yard passing effort set an Arkansas single-game record, was the fifth-highest total in SEC history and was the most of any player in the nation this season.
• Wilson also scored on a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter to tie the score, 35-35.

• Wright set an Arkansas school record with 281 receiving yards on a school-record tying 13 receptions against Texas A&M.
• Wright’s receiving yardage total is the second-highest in SEC history and his average per catch (21.6) is the second-highest in league history.
• The 281 yards is the second-highest total in the nation this season and the 13 catches are most in the SEC this season.

• In South Carolina’s 16-13 los to Auburn, Ingram recorded 11 total tackles, including eight solo stops. He also had 4.5 tackles for loss (-21 yards), including a career-best three sacks (-20 yards).
• Ingram also collected an interception and two quarterback hurries against the Tigers.
• The Gamecock defense limited Auburn to just 3.9 yards per play in the contest and 18 points below their season’s scoring average.
• Ingram is now the SEC’s leader in sacks (5.5) and tackles for loss (7.5) this season.

• Clark punted seven times for an average of 37.9 yards per punt, including five punts inside-the-20, all of which were inside the 12-yard line, with two inside the five-yardline, in Auburn’s 16-13 win at South Carolina.
• After Clark’s punts, South Carolina’s average starting field position was the USC 16 as its possessions started at the 38, 4, 1, 11, 12 and 12 yardlines.
• Clark is the first Auburn punter with five punts inside-the-20 since Jaret Holmes had five at Arkansas in 1997.
• Clark leads the SEC with 14 punts inside the 20.

• Vlachos received the highest grade on an Alabama offensive line that cleared the way for a 38-10 win at Florida.
• Vlachos did not allow a sack or a pressure and made critical line calls in pass protection.
• Alabama rushed for 226 total yards and added 140 yards through the air.
• Alabama leads the SEC and is ranked 13th nationally in rushing offense (229.8 ypg) and is second in the SEC and 18th in the nation in scoring offense (38.4 ppg).

• Montgomery led the LSU defense with six total tackles, two for losses, including 1.5 sacks, in the Tigers’ 35-7 win against Kentucky.
• Montgomery keyed an LSU defense that held Kentucky to just 155 total yards. 70 of those yards came after LSU had built a 35-0 lead late in the fourth quarter.
• LSU held Kentucky to only 45 first half yards and just two completions in taking a 14-0 lead at halftime.
• LSU registered five sacks of Kentucky quarterbacks and gave up no plays longer than 19 yards from scrimmage.
SEC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
ISAIAH CROWELL (Watch Georgia Highlights)

• Crowell recorded his second consecutive 100-yard rushing game (third of the season) in Georgia’s 24-10 win over Mississippi State.
• Crowell tallied 104 rushing yards on 22 carries, a 4.7 yard per rush average, against the Bulldogs.
• Crowell is the top freshman rusher in the SEC, fourth among freshmen in the nation and tied for fourth overall in the SEC, averaging 103.0 yards per game.
• Georgia has scored at least 24 points in all five of their games, including two matchups against top-12 teams, and are averaging 34.6 points per game.
OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES FROM WEEK 5
RB TRENT RICHARDSON (Alabama) — Tallied career-best 181 rushing yards on 29 carries and two touchdowns and had two catches for 27 yards against Florida.
LB COURTNEY UPSHAW (Alabama) – Recorded four tackles, three for losses, including a sack, and returned an interception for a touchdown against Florida.
CB TEVIN MITCHELL (Arkansas) — Tallied a career-high 13 tackles, including nine solos, and a fumble recovery against Texas A&M.
RB MICHAEL DYER (Auburn) — Rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown, while tying a school-record with 41 carries, against South Carolina.
SAF DEMETRUCE McNEAL (Auburn) — Led the Tigers with eight total tackles (five solos) and an interception, against South Carolina.
LB JELANI JENKINS (Florida) — Had a game-high nine total tackles with one for a loss (-3 yards) against Alabama.
CB BRANDON BOYKIN (Georgia) — Had six tackles, one for a loss, forced a fumble, had a pass deflection and finished with 88 all-purpose yards on special teams returns against Mississippi State.
N JOHN JENKINS (Georgia) — Had three tackles, with two for losses, including a sack, against Mississippi State.
LB DANNY TREVATHAN (Kentucky) — Registered a game-high 13 total tackles (four solos) against LSU.
DB TYRANN MATHIEU (LSU) – Had five tackles, two forced fumbles, returning one for a touchdown, and a sack against Kentucky.
WR ODELL BECKHAM (LSU) — Had three catches for 75 yards, including a 51-yarder for a touchdown, against Kentucky.
RB JEFF SCOTT (Ole Miss) — Had 206 all-purpose yards against Fresno State, including 138 rushing yards on 24 carries, and two touchdowns.
LB CAMERON LAWRENCE (Mississippi State) — Had game-high 12 total tackles (six solos) and an interception against Georgia.
SPUR ANTONIO ALLEN (South Carolina) — Credited with game-high 13 total tackles, including nine solos, with three for losses, an interception and a quarterback pressure against Auburn.
QB TYLER BRAY (Tennessee) — Completed 21-of-31 passes for 342 yards and four touchdowns against Buffalo.
LB CURT MAGGITT (Tennessee) — Had seven total tackles, including a one for a loss, against Buffalo.

No Longer Same Old Vanderbilt

James Franklin heard a voice coming out of the stands on Saturday afternoon. What that fan was saying was so completely contrary to the new attitude of winning that Franklin has instilled in the Vanderbilt football program that it made the first-year head coach think.
“Same old Vanderbilt, Coach,” the fan shouted.
Surely not. It’s not possible. Not after all the work Franklin has done in Nashville.
He’s energized the school, he has energized the community and he has trumpeted every single strength of the program, rather than focusing on the reasons why the program hasn’t been successful historically.
Trailing 21-14 early in the fourth quarter, it might have appeared to some that it would be another game that the Commodores wouldn’t be able to win. But this wasn’t just any opponent.
